7.30am – 8.30am, Breakfast, 10am – 4pm GMT each day

Brocade is a precious and strong from of fabric. It is valued for its endurance over centuries as well as its beauty. The 8 Pieces of The Silk Brocade Qigong Form references the resilience and delicate elegance of these intricately decorated materials. The energies woven into this simple form offer a remedial and strong structure to bring balance to body, mind and spirit.

“…thousands of illnesses vanish into dust.” –

This is the last line of a poem describing the qualities of the Eight Pieces of Silk Brocade. I am looking forward to sharing this profound and healing practice with you. It is a practice I love and variations of which I have known for many years.

The 8 Pieces of The Silk Brocade is a simple, powerful and internal form that was created to maintain the physical, emotional and mental health of warriors about 1000 years ago.  Its practice is often surprises on first encounter, surpassing the obvious expectation of an SAS forces training. The Silk Brocade is a subtle and profound form: gentle and accessible. It can be done seated or standing and is an excellent vehicle for recovery from any debilitating trauma or condition.  If depression has descended or some life-changing medical event was experienced as well as dealing with the challenges of daily living, The 8 pieces of The Silk Brocade is a healing path suitable for all.  The practice contains eight separate movements (or pieces) that  work with differing energies and meridians

Together during the weekend we will learn:

  • How to Activate our Qi,
  • Improve Circulation,
  • Stimulate our Immune System,
  • Strengthen our Internal Organs,
  • Receive an Abundance of Energy

Two days, Saturday and Sunday 18th and 19th January: £80, one day: £50. This fee includes a recording of the workshop
