The day is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners of Tai Chi.

This day is for experienced participants to deepen their insight, and for beginners to receive a taste of the soft martial art of Tai Chi Ch’uan – or ‘Ultimate Supreme Form of Boxing’. During the day we will learn abut the psychological aspects of self-defence and how this is embodied in the grounded postures.

Tai Chi uses minimum effort for maximum effect. This cultivation of ease enables health and vitality to improve. As the body relaxes, the mind becomes tranquil, aware and alert. Active relaxation is a process of becoming more aware and sensitive to what is happening both inside and out of the skin – the foundation of this soft, gentle yet powerful martial art.
